Jigsaw Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Jigsaw Operator to join our team. The Jigsaw Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining jigsaw machines to cut various materials according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure precision cutting of materials using jigsaw machines.
• Keep machinery in optimal condition through regular cleaning and maintenance.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications for cutting tasks.
• Select and fit the appropriate blades for varied materials.
• Oversee the quality of work to meet production standards.
• Comply with all safety regulations and protocols.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Assist in training new staff on operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of production.
• Suggest improvements on cutting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry.

Experience

• Prior experience as a Jigsaw Operator or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Advantageous
