Metal-Refining Furnace Operator

Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Metal-Refining Furnace Operator with a solid background in iron casting. The ideal candidate will operate furnaces and oversee the melting of metal to create high-quality cast products, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor furnace temperatures and control melting processes.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Assist in troubleshooting furnace or casting issues.
• Train junior staff as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in metalworking or engineering would be advantageous

Experience

• Experience with CNC machines is a plus

• Previous experience in a foundry setting: Hands-on experience with casting techniques and machinery.
