Rental Boats Caretaker

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Rental Boats Caretaker to manage our fleet of rental boats. Your role will encompass maintaining the vessels and ensuring they are always ready and safe for customer use. You will interact with customers, providing a great rental experience whilst upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall condition and readiness of rental boats.
• Carry out routine servicing and troubleshooting of boats and equipment.
• Assist with the onboarding of new customers and provide necessary training.
• Ensure all safety checks are adhered to before boat launches.
• Foster a welcoming environment for customers to enhance their experience.
• Maintain organized records of maintenance and repairs conducted.
• Collaborate with the operations team to streamline procedures.
• Engage in ongoing training to remain informed about best practices.
• Maintain effective communication with management regarding fleet status.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in Marine Services are a plus

Experience

• Experience working with different types of boats and engines

• Mechanical skills

Certifications

• Health and Safety training is essential
• Previous experience in boat maintenance highly regarded

Languages

• English: Fluent
