Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Equipment Operator to join our dedicated team in Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining chemical processing equipment to ensure efficient production. Your expertise will play a vital role in achieving our production targets and maintaining our high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess the operational status of chemical equipment.
  • Record data accurately for process improvements.
  • Assist in the training of new staff on equipment operation protocols.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance equipment efficiency.
  • Participate in safety drills and compliance checks.
  • Conduct routine safety audits and report incidents promptly.
  • Utilise software for monitoring equipment performance.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the work area.
  • Engage in continuous training to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Higher education in a relevant discipline (preferred)
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
