In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining chemical processing equipment to ensure efficient production. Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the operational status of chemical equipment.
• Record data accurately for process improvements.
• Assist in the training of new staff on equipment operation protocols.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance equipment efficiency.
• Participate in safety drills and compliance checks.
• Conduct routine safety audits and report incidents promptly.
• Utilise software for monitoring equipment performance.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the work area.
• Engage in continuous training to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety.

Requirements

Education

• Technical degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Higher education in a relevant discipline (preferred)

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

• Chemical process understanding

Certifications

• NEBOSH Certification
• HNC in Chemical Engineering
