Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our Manchester team. This role will involve analysing data, creating models to forecast outcomes, and working closely with various teams to ensure accurate financial predictions. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of actuarial principles and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rigorous data validation and ensure accuracy of actuarial models.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss analytical outcomes.
  • Prepare and present quantitative data to stakeholders in a clear format.
  • Work on enhancing existing models and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support training sessions for junior analysts and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Qualification from a recognized actuarial body is desirable
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in an actuarial role, preferably in insurance or pensions
