Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer in Birmingham, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of electrical systems, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations. We're looking for a proactive individual who possesses a flair for innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical design efforts on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and similar software for design purposes.
  • Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Develop project specifications and scopes of work.
  • Supervise electrical installations and commissioning.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Review project proposals and contribute to bid preparations.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and trends in electrical engineering.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Chartered Engineer status is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering
