We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Leeds. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities. You will collaborate with architects, builders, and other engineering professionals to ensure projects meet the necessary regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Optimise engineering solutions for operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders for project approvals.
• Review and approve engineering designs and plans.
• Identify potential problems during the project lifecycle and address them.
• Conduct research and stay updated with engineering trends and technology.
• Participate in industry meetings and represent the company.
• Manage project teams and facilitate communication among team members.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure projects adhere to environmental and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project management
