Job Description

As a Chamber Worker, you will support the daily operations of our Chamber of Commerce. Your responsibilities will include administrative support, event coordination, and maintaining member relations. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual dedicated to fostering a vibrant business community.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage chamber events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
  • Provide administrative support across various areas to aid team initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for members, addressing queries and facilitating engagement.
  • Manage the chamber’s online presence, including social media and website updates.
  • Compile and maintain accurate data and reports regarding membership and activities.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and contributing to promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery and member satisfaction.
  • Take minutes during meetings and assist with follow-up actions.
  • Represent the chamber at external events and promote its initiatives.
  • Develop positive relationships within the local business community.

Requirements

Education
  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience
  • Previous experience within a community or non-profit organization is a plus.
