Job Description

We are on the lookout for dedicated Construction and Building Inspectors who are passionate about maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance in building practices. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of construction regulations and building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Evaluate contractor work practices and adherence to project specifications.
  • Document findings and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Advise on remedial actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct final inspections prior to project completion certification.
  • Monitor health and safety practices on-site.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to uphold standards.
  • Provide technical advice and clarification on building codes.
  • Review change orders and assess their impact on compliance.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed on regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Chartered status is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction inspection or site management
