Job Description

As a Combination Building Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of construction projects. Your role will ensure that all work complies with applicable building regulations and standards, working closely with contractors and developers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to validate compliance with building regulations.
  • Evaluate architectural and engineering plans to identify potential compliance issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for construction personnel.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address compliance concerns and provide recommendations for modifications.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining observed violations and recommended corrective actions.
  • Conduct follow-up inspections to verify compliance with corrective actions.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Certifications in building inspection or code enforcement are preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry
