Responsibilities
Assess risk factors in insurance applications and make decisions on policy acceptance.
Develop proposals for policy coverage and premium rates.
Analyze market trends to inform underwriting decisions.
Keep accurate records of all underwriting activities.
Communicate with clients to clarify their insurance requirements.
Examine claims to ascertain coverage and evaluate liability.
Work closely with compliance teams to ensure all regulations are met.
Engage with sales staff to create customised insurance offerings.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
3-5 years of underwriting experience in the insurance industry
