Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Edinburgh facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and care. You will play a vital role in aiding radiologists with interpretations and enhancing patient experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Administer imaging procedures while adhering to safety standards.
  • Collect and review patient history and relevant information before procedures.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff during imaging procedures.
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding procedures and protocols.
  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation for each imaging study.
  • Engage in patient education to enhance understanding of imaging procedures.
  • Participate in research projects to improve imaging techniques.
  • Document and report any adverse events or patient issues.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant health care field
  • Radiologic Technology certification from an accredited institution
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a radiology department
