Environmental Consultant

Job Description

As an Environmental Consultant, you will evaluate environmental impacts, develop strategies for sustainability, and work closely with clients to achieve compliance with environmental legislation. You will be integral in promoting sustainable practices that enhance ecological integrity while supporting business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the environmental assessment process for projects.
• Develop risk mitigation plans to reduce environmental impacts.
• Support clients in obtaining environmental permits and certifications.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to gather input and feedback.
• Assist in the development of corporate sustainability reports.
• Advocate for innovative solutions to promote environmental stewardship.
• Develop training programmes for staff on environmental best practices.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science or Sustainability
• Master's degree in Environmental Policy or related area is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or sustainability roles
