We are seeking a proactive Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to oversee all aspects of our fleet operations in Stevenage. The successful candidate will ensure that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, complying with safety regulations. Your role will involve liaising with service providers, managing budgets, and ensuring effective communication between departments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of fleet maintenance programmes.
  • Ensure all vehicles are serviced according to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and manage fuel cards.
  • Assist in implementing fleet management software for improved tracking.
  • Report on fleet performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate service contracts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance fleet efficiency.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field
  • Certifications in fleet management are preferable
  • Fleet Management Software Proficient in using software tools for fleet tracking and maintenance management.
  • Vehicle Diagnostics Expertise in diagnosing vehicle issues and overseeing repairs.
  • Organisational Skills Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Communication Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Fleet Management Certification
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Project Management Certification: Certification in project management methodologies for fleet projects.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role: Demonstrated leadership experience within a fleet or logistics environment.
