Job Description

As a Shear Grinder Operator Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting the Shear Grinder Operator within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the operation and maintenance of advanced grinding machinery, ensuring efficiency and precision in metal product fabrication.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operation of shear grinding machinery as directed.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
  • Oversee the quality of products and materials processed.
  • Adhere to workplace safety standards and regulations.
  • Keep the work area tidy and well-organized.
  • Communicate effectively with the Grinding Supervisor.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving production challenges.
  • Maintain accurate logs of operational activities.
  • Engage in ongoing training and skill enhancement.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with fellow team members.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in machine operation preferred
Experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial
