Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Health Consultant to join our team in Wakefield. This role involves assessing health risks in the environment and promoting sustainable practices in local communities. The successful candidate will have experience in environmental science and a passion for public health.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate public and environmental health risks associated with local practices.
• Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for community outreach.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure health regulations are met.
• Conduct field inspections and surveys to gather relevant data.
• Deliver training sessions on environmental health topics to various audiences.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams to address complex health issues.
• Provide expert advice on best practices for environmental sustainability.
• Document findings in a clear, concise manner for client reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Environmental Science
• Master's degree an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years working in environmental health consultancy or related field.
