Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Pulp Bleacher to join our team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient removal of impurities and brightening of pulp using chemicals and bleaching agents to achieve high quality standards. Your role will be pivotal to maintaining the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor bleaching processes and adjust parameters as necessary.
• Contribute to team efforts to meet production deadlines and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in training new team members on operational procedures.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for the bleaching process.
• Compile data and report findings to relevant management personnel.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in pulp and paper processes is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years in a similar role preferred
