We are seeking a Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical processes, ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and improve production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at enhancing chemical production methods.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials.
• Oversee the scale-up of lab processes to production levels.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Evaluate the performance of chemical equipment and systems.
• Ensure the use of sustainable practices in operations.
• Contract external experts for specialized tasks.
• Review compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
• Professional engineering license is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical engineering roles
