Plastic Process Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Process Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our plastic processing machinery and uphold the highest quality standards throughout our production processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining productivity and efficiency while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of plastic molding machines, ensuring they produce high-quality products.
• Conduct regular checks and adjustments on machinery for optimal operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify areas for process improvement.
• Perform equipment inspections to preemptively identify issues and reduce downtime.
• Document all production processes and maintain logs for audits.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant technical certifications or apprenticeship preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in plastic processing or related field
