Job Description

As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families experiencing difficult life situations. You will provide assessments, develop intervention plans, and work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure effective support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of developmental needs for children.
  • Design and deliver individualised intervention plans for clients.
  • Facilitate collaboration with other professionals involved in care.
  • Support families in understanding and navigating early intervention resources.
  • Monitor and report on the outcomes of intervention efforts.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops.
  • Organise and participate in community outreach initiatives.
  • Advocate for the needs of children and families in various settings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Professional certification in Early Intervention is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or social care setting, preferably in early intervention.
