Job Description

As an Urban and Regional Planner, you will be integral to the development and implementation of planning policies that support sustainable urban development. Your commitment to enhancing community living through efficient resource allocation and project management will be key.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with community members and stakeholders to gather feedback for projects.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Analyse land-use data and trends to inform planning decisions.
  • Prepare and present planning proposals to local government and community boards.
  • Evaluate project impacts on the environment and public health.
  • Support in developing and tracking project budgets.
  • Research and implement best practices in urban planning.
  • Utilise GIS tools for mapping and spatial analysis.
  • Foster relationships with public and private sector stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning for infrastructure and transport improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Architecture, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant planning experience
