Quality Control Industrial Engineer

Job Description

The Quality Control Industrial Engineer (QC Industrial Engineer) will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of industrial products through the application of engineering principles and statistical methods. You will play a critical role in identifying and resolving quality issues while working closely with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality control measures for production processes.
• Analyze production data to identify quality issues and trends.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to management.
• Develop training programmes for production staff on quality standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors on quality-related matters.
• Oversee quality audits and inspections.
• Maintain and update documentation related to quality processes.
• Identify opportunities for reducing waste and improving efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality control or a regulated industry

Technical Skills

• Quality Management Systems
• CAD Software

Advantageous

• Experience in a regulated industry: Background in industries like medical devices, automotive, or aerospace.
• Experience with process audits: Skilled in conducting internal audits and assessments.
