Job Description

An Art Educator position is available at our institution. The role involves teaching and inspiring students in various art techniques and helping them develop their artistic skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver art lessons and workshops to diverse groups of learners.
• Facilitate creative activities and provide guidance to students in various art techniques and mediums.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering creativity and artistic expression.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs and interests of students.
• Collaborate with other art educators to develop curriculum and educational resources.
• Stay updated with current art trends, techniques, and educational practices.
• Organize and participate in art exhibitions, showcases, and events.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and progress.

Requirements

Education

• A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with students with special educational needs is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of art history

Languages

• English: Fluent
