Job Description

As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the import process for ocean shipments. Your responsibilities will include coordinating logistics, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and facilitate the importation of ocean freight shipments from start to finish.
  • Work closely with customs brokers to ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate.
  • Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and invoices.
  • Manage communication with all parties involved in the shipping process.
  • Troubleshoot transportation issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Continuously assess and improve import processes for efficiency.
  • Stay updated with changes in import regulations and logistics best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in ocean import coordination or similar role.
