We are seeking a skilled Christmas Tree Farm Manager to lead our operations during the busiest time of the year. This role encompasses overseeing planting, pruning, harvesting, and ensuring the health of our trees. The perfect candidate will have a genuine passion for agriculture and the ability to manage a dedicated team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee planting and care routines for optimal tree growth.
  • Manage a team of nursery workers and field staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies to boost revenue during peak season.
  • Monitor tree health, implementing pest control measures when necessary.
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring all machinery is operational and safe.
  • Record and manage farm expenses and revenue for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotions with farm operations.
  • Implement training programs for new staff on operational procedures.
  • Evaluate farm performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field
  • Certifications in farm management are advantageous
  • Agricultural Practices Deep knowledge of agricultural techniques specific to Christmas tree farming.
  • Machinery Operation Proficient in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery.
  • Leadership Strong leadership capabilities to manage a diverse team.
