Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Botanical Scientist to join our agriculture team in Margate. The successful candidate will focus on plant research and development, contributing to sustainable farming practices and innovative solutions in horticulture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute field trials to assess plant performance under various conditions.
  • Participate in industry conferences to showcase research findings.
  • Implement best practices for data management and record-keeping.
  • Work with marketing teams to translate research into actionable strategies.
  • Provide expert recommendations on plant health and pest management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or similar
  • Higher qualifications in Botany or related subjects are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of practical experience in agriculture or plant research
