Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Legal Advisor to join our esteemed legal counsel team in St Albans. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing expert legal advice, facilitating the understanding of legal frameworks, and ensuring compliance across our organisation. You will work closely with various departments to assist in drafting contracts, managing disputes, and advising on legal implications of business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for legal queries within the organisation.
• Monitor changes in legislation that may affect business operations.
• Prepare and maintain legal documents and contracts in accordance with legal standards.
• Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Assist in developing risk management strategies to protect the organisation.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on business initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR on employment-related legal issues and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Master's degree in Law or related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in legal advisory roles within corporate settings
