Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Technician to work alongside cardiologists and nursing staff in our dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves conducting diagnostic tests, monitoring patients, and providing patient education about cardiac health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) and echocardiograms following prescribed procedures.
• Operate Holter monitors and assist in stress testing procedures.
• Support cardiologists in catheterisation and other advanced procedures.
• Educate patients on preparation for diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Document patient interactions and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist in the development of patient care plans based on test results.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of cardiology equipment.
• Participate in staff training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in a relevant field
• Postgraduate qualification in Cardiovascular Technology is preferred

Experience

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Certifications

• CCP (Certified Cardiovascular Technologist)
