Accountant

Looking for a dynamic Accountant to become part of our dedicated team in Coventry. You will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, and conducting audits. Bring your expertise and join us in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with the training and supervision of junior staff.
• Prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Provide support to clients in financial decision-making.
• Report discrepancies to management and propose solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional accounting qualification is a plus

Experience

• Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks) is essential
