Job Description

As an Aviation Ordnance Officer, you will oversee the management and maintenance of aircraft weapons systems and ammunition. This role requires ensuring compliance with safety regulations and coordinating with various teams to support operational requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining safety protocols and mentoring personnel on proper handling of armaments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with aviation ordnance regulations and procedures.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft ordnance systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with various departments to support aircraft weapons integration.
• Perform regular inventory checks and manage munitions storage facilities.
• Conduct training sessions on aviation ordnance safety measures.
• Develop and update procedures related to aircraft munitions handling.
• Collaborate with external agencies for ordnance disposal and transportation.
• Participate in safety audits and incident investigations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Ordnance Management or related field
• Relevant military experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation ordnance management or a related field.
