Electrical and Electronic Equipment Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Hand Mounter to join our assembly team. As a Hand Mounter, you will be responsible for accurately assembling various electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using hand tools and soldering equipment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure all components are correctly positioned and securely mounted.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and mount components on PCBs following precise technical specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize soldering equipment efficiently and safely during assembly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for assembly processes.
• Assist in training new team members on assembly techniques and safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical qualification in electronics or assembly

Experience

• Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of electronic components and their identification
• Experience with automated assembly equipment

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Time management skills

• Experience with quality inspection equipment: Knowledge of using tools to verify the quality of assembled PCBs.
