Job Description

As an Urban Planner at Urban Development Solutions, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Inverness. Responsibilities

  • Create detailed urban plans and development proposals for new projects.
  • Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure design feasibility.
  • Utilize GIS software for mapping and spatial analysis.
  • Lead workshops and presentations to educate the public on planning initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local organisations and advocacy groups.
  • Assess socio-economic data to inform urban policies.
  • Review and provide recommendations on planning applications and proposals.
  • Prepare budgeting and resource allocation for projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies, Environmental Planning, or related field
  • Master's degree or higher in Urban Planning is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, sustainable development, or policy analysis
