Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Birmingham-based team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medication reviews for patients.
• Assist customers with over-the-counter products and healthcare solutions.
• Lead patient consultation services for chronic disease management.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health literacy.
• Support the development of pharmacy services and programs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Review and validate prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide training and development for pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Master’s degree in Pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in community pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Medication Management
• Health Promotion

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• GPhC Registration
• Practice Certificate in Independent Prescribing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a Multidisciplinary Team: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Additional Language Skills: Proficiency in a second language is an advantage in patient communication.
