Four Slide Machine Setter

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Four Slide Machine Setter to join our manufacturing team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating Four Slide machines to produce high-quality components in accordance with production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure machine settings according to production requirements.
• Conduct routine quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Train new staff on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Initiate corrective actions on production discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ in Engineering or related field

Experience

• 2-4 years in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Precision Measurement

• Time Management

Advantageous

• Previous experience with CNC machinery: Familiarity with CNC operation will be beneficial.
