Job Description

As a Water Resource Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and administering water rights pivotal for project success. Your responsibilities will include identifying and securing new water rights, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough research on water rights and regulations.
  • Providing expert advice to clients and decision-makers on water resource management.
  • Assessing the impact of water rights on various development projects.
  • Preparing persuasive technical reports and presentations.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive project evaluations.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of water rights legislation.
  • Developing models to forecast water usage and rights conflicts.
  • Identifying trends and gaps in water resource management practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Water Resources Engineering
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managing water rights or environmental consulting roles
