Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Inpatient Nursing Aide to join our compassionate team, providing essential care to our patients. You will assist with daily activities, maintain a safe environment, and support nurses in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
Help patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort
Provide assistance to nursing staff during procedures and patient assessments
Regularly communicate with patients to address their needs and concerns
Aid in the organization of patient care supplies and equipment
Participate in training and continuous education programs as required
Requirements
Education
A valid Nursing Aide certification or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Prior experience as an Inpatient Nursing Aide is preferred but not mandatory.
Technical Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of infection control procedures
Soft Skills
Empathy and compassion towards patients
Ability to work well within a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Advantageous
Previous experience in a similar healthcare setting: Experience in hospitals or residential care homes is advantageous.
Familiarity with specific medical conditions and their care requirements: Understanding of chronic conditions and associated patient care.
