Job Description

We are looking to hire a Settlement Clerk who will play a key role in ensuring the prompt and accurate settlement of financial transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with both internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies and uphold compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate settlement activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support during external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
  • Utilise financial software systems for tracking transactions and managing discrepancies.
  • Compile reports on settlement activities and present findings to management.
  • Work closely with analysts to enhance operational efficiency within settlement departments.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISI) are preferred
Experience
  • Experience in settlements or finance is advantageous
