Job Description

As a Conservation Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative conservation strategies aimed at optimising resource use and minimising waste. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in environmental management and demonstrate a passion for sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct energy audits, identifying opportunities for conservation and efficiency improvement.
  • Assist in monitoring and analysing energy consumption data.
  • Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient technologies and systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish achievable sustainability goals.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and training sessions on resource conservation.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve conservation strategies based on feedback.
  • Prepare detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sustainability best practices and legislation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's or relevant certifications
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in resource conservation or sustainability projects
