Oil and Gas Technician

Job Description

We are looking for an Oil and Gas Technician who is passionate about energy and sustainability. In this role, you'll conduct maintenance and repairs, work closely with engineers, and ensure our operations are running smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will help us lead the way in the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities

• Support the commissioning of new equipment and technologies.
• Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Assist in preparing reports on equipment status and maintenance outcomes.
• Work closely with supply chain teams to procure necessary materials and parts.
• Provide training to junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Higher-level engineering qualifications are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in operational roles within the oil and gas field

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Drilling Operations Experience: Prior experience in drilling operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC Systems: Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance in industrial settings.
