Job Description

As an Occupational Health Technician, you will be responsible for conducting health assessments, providing advice on health-related issues, and assisting in the development of health programmes within organisations. Your role will play a crucial part in promoting a safe and healthy working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment health screenings and fitness-to-work assessments.
• Identify workplace health hazards and suggest improvements.
• Support employees in navigating health improvement plans.
• Assist in conducting workplace risk assessments.
• Keep abreast of changes in health legislation and best practices.
• Contribute to the development of health and safety policies.
• Maintain a professional and empathetic approach when dealing with employees.
• Compile reports on health trends within the workplace.
• Support the workplace health and safety committee.

Requirements

Education

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health
• Additional training in health and safety is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in occupational health or related fields

Certifications
