Job Description

As an Audio Production Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our production team. This includes setting up and testing sound equipment, recording performances, and editing audio files to meet our high standards of excellence. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the mixing process to ensure each instrument is properly balanced.
  • Edit recordings to remove unwanted noise and enhance overall sound quality.
  • Work with video production teams to synchronise sound with visual elements.
  • Collaborate on projects from conception through execution to deliver high-quality audio results.
  • Prepare and manage audio data for distribution across various platforms.
  • Provide technical support during live performances, ensuring seamless audio delivery.
  • Maintain detailed records of audio projects and production schedules.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Technology or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sound engineering or audio production
Technical Skills
  • Audio Mixing
  • Microphone Techniques
Certifications
  • Audio Engineering Society Membership
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Understanding of acoustics and soundproofing: Knowledge of acoustical treatment and its application in audio production.
  • Experience with MIDI programming and sequencing: Familiarity with MIDI equipment and software for music production.
