Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Manager to join our dynamic team in Telford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading a team of production staff to achieve efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food production processes and operations to optimise output.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and food regulations.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply of raw materials.
• Develop and implement training programs for new production staff.
• Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste.
• Work closely with the R&D team for product development and improvement.
• Prepare reports on production performance and present to upper management.
• Foster a positive and productive environment for the production team.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Food Technology or Management

Experience

• 5+ years in a managerial role within food production.

• HACCP Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
