Job Description

As a Hoist and Winch Operator at Construction Solutions Ltd., you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of bridges. Your expertise in operating hoisting equipment safely and efficiently is essential for the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hoisting operations to ensure the safe movement of materials.
  • Perform thorough inspections of all rigging and lifting equipment before use.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and site managers during operations.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to promote best practices.
  • Monitor site conditions and adjust operations as necessary for safety.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior riggers and trainees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of all rigging procedures.
  • Assist in the development of safety protocols and improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate and respond to any emergencies or unexpected challenges on site.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in rigging, particularly in bridge construction.
