Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our Brighton team, dedicated to providing exceptional care to domestic animals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgery and a passion for animal welfare.
Responsibilities
Deliver preventative healthcare through vaccinations and health checks.
Perform routine and complex surgeries on pets.
Educate and counsel pet owners on health and wellness practices.
Work with the veterinary team to create a positive clinic environment.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest veterinary treatments and services.
Contribute to the training and development of veterinary staff and interns.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
Postgraduate qualification (e.g., Diploma, CertAVP) is beneficial
Experience
Experience in an emergency or referral practice is an advantage
