Job Description

We are seeking a qualified psychiatrist to join our dedicated team in Manchester. In this role, you will assess and diagnose mental health disorders, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing patient support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar setting and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of psychiatric patients.
  • Provide compassionate and effective treatment to improve patient mental health.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to optimise treatment outcomes.
  • Stay informed about developments in the field of psychiatry and mental health.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately.
  • Promote a supportive and therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Contribute to the development of mental health policies and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Fellowship in Psychiatry is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in community psychiatry and acute care settings is a plus
