Job Description

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to play a vital role in our HR team in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will manage various HR functions, providing support in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training. Your expertise will contribute significantly to creating a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment law.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to talent acquisition strategies, including employer branding.
  • Implement performance appraisal systems and provide feedback to employees.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs and ensure competitiveness.
  • Organise employee wellness and team-building activities.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior management on HR strategy and development.
  • Provide support in employee grievances and disciplinary procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends and updates in HR practices.
  • Assist with audits and ensure HR practices align with company standards.
  • Develop and distribute HR communications and newsletters.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR related field
  • CIPD Level 7 would be a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles
