Job Description

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our creative team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects, ensuring quality and innovation in landscape design that enhances community spaces while promoting environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee landscape plans that integrate functionality and aesthetics.
• Participate in community engagement meetings to gather public input on design proposals.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Conduct environmental assessments to inform design processes.
• Develop planting schemes and choose appropriate materials for each project.
• Ensure maintenance plans are included as part of project delivery.
• Keep abreast of design software advancements and integrate them into workflows.
• Advocate for sustainable design principles in all projects.
• Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Prepare and submit planning applications and reports to local authorities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, or related discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in landscape architecture design

• GIS Software

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Landscape Institute Certificate in Landscape Architecture
