Mechanic Helper

Job Description

As a Mechanic Helper, you will support our skilled mechanics in performing repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanics in diagnosing vehicle issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
• Participate in training on new equipment and repairs.
• Document maintenance procedures and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency.
• Assist in managing inventory of tools and parts.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technician certification preferred

Experience

• Experience in automotive repair is beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving ability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment: Experience with diagnostic tools and processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with computer software: Knowledge of software for record-keeping and communication.
