Kennel Vet Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Kennel Vet Assistant to join our veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will provide support to our veterinarians and ensure the comfort, health, and safety of all animals in our care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with animal behaviour assessment and ensure a calm environment.
• Document all care and treatments accurately in the system.
• Engage with clients to build rapport and provide support.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care is a bonus

Experience

• Experience in animal care or a related field is a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Behavioural Training: Knowledge in animal behaviour training techniques.
