Production Planner, Derry in Manufacturing

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Derry. This role involves overseeing production schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, and optimising resource allocation to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report on capacity constraints in production.
• Ensure all production plans comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and production teams.
• Conduct regular reviews of manufacturing processes for continual improvement.
• Train staff on production planning tools and processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor practices.

Requirements

Education

• HNC or HND in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a planning role

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Excel
• Project Management

• Team Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Lean Manufacturing Experience: Familiarity with lean principles and methodologies to improve manufacturing efficiency.
